During our planning, designer Kerry Joyce said, “It should look like it had always been this way– years of paint and nothing new.” Rusk sanded the edges of millwork and filled inside corners with caulk before painting to make it look like layers of built up paint.  The entry paneling was finished onsite, the English oak study was carefully limed and even the wall grills were set into the plaster of the ceiling.
