Construction Laborer

Qualifications:
- Experience in construction or maintenance
- OSHA 30
- SST 10
- Basic mathematic skills
- Ability to lift 100 lbs
- Ability to install and maintain temporary protection on floors, walls, and around cabinetry & in tight spaces
- Deep understanding of job site safety
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of the appropriate use of cleaning materials, tools, equipment, and building practices
- Confidence using a hammer, measuring tape, a utility knife, and other tools.
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, store, and relocate building materials, equipment, and other tools
- Be able to move/organize throughout a busy job site
- Bring deliveries into the building safely and remove debris safely without damaging building hallways, doorways, and other sections of the site
- Ability to carefully remove construction debris
- Perform demolition of select areas.
- Be able to hand mix cement and other materials like Stucto-Lite, Plaster, etc.
- Replace air filters in negative air machines and other air-moving equipment
- Follow and carry out Rusk superintendent’s specific daily instructions while adhering to important protocols and checklists
- Review and validate delivery paperwork
